Privacy Policy

Last updated September 27, 2026

Fly Guyz Detailing is a mobile auto detailing business based in Lakewood, CA. This policy explains what we collect when you contact us or book a detail, what we do with it, and what we will never do with it.

1. What we collect

We only collect what we need to quote your job and show up at the right place:

  • Contact details — your name, phone number, and email address if you give us one.
  • Vehicle details — year, make, model, vehicle type and general condition.
  • Service location — the city where the vehicle will be, and the service address once a job is scheduled.
  • Job details — the package and add-ons you want, your preferred date and time, and anything you tell us in the notes field.
  • Basic technical data — our hosting provider records standard server logs such as IP address and browser type for security and reliability.
  • Your acceptance of our terms — when you tick the box on the booking form we record which version of the Terms and this policy you accepted, and when.

We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, driver's license number, or bank or card numbers through this website.

2. How we use it

  • To reply to your request with a quote and available times.
  • To confirm, reschedule or remind you about a booked appointment.
  • To find your vehicle and complete the detail.
  • To keep a record of work performed and handle any follow-up.
  • To answer questions, resolve disputes, and meet our legal and tax obligations.

We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not run behavioral ad tracking on this site.

3. Text messages (SMS)

When you submit the booking form or text us directly, you agree to receive text messages from Fly Guyz Detailing about your booking — confirmations, scheduling, updates and reminders.

  • Message frequency — messages are sent in response to your request and around a scheduled appointment. Frequency varies; it is not a recurring marketing blast.
  • Cost — message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you for messages; your carrier may.
  • Opting out — reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or call us at (562) 239-9424.
  • Carrier liability — mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number. Mobile information and SMS consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are used only to contact you about your own service request, and are shared only with the messaging provider that delivers our texts.

Opting out of texts does not cancel a booked appointment. If you want to cancel, call (562) 239-9424 or email us.

4. Who we share information with

We are a small owner-operated business. Your information is not sold, and it is not handed to data brokers, lead resellers, or marketing lists. We share it only with the service providers that make the business run, and only to the extent they need it:

  • Our website host, which serves this site and records standard server logs.
  • The tool that delivers booking requests to us, so a request reaches our inbox.
  • Our messaging and phone provider, which delivers calls and texts to and from our business number.
  • Our scheduling tool, which holds appointment times and locations.
  • TikTok, when the clips on our homepage load in your browser — see section 6, which explains exactly what it sees.

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, or where necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property.

5. Photos of your vehicle

We photograph and record vehicles before, during and after a detail — partly as a record of the condition we received the vehicle in, and partly for our website and social media. We do not publish license plates, street addresses, VINs, or anything else that identifies you or where you live.

If you would rather we did not publish photos of your vehicle at all, tell us before or during the appointment and we will keep them private. See our Terms of Service for the full media terms.

6. Cookies and tracking

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies of our own. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no TikTok pixel and no conversion tag on this site. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell or rent anyone’s information.

Our host sets only the cookies needed to serve the site securely, and the booking form keeps what you type in your own browser until you submit it.

Our TikTok clips play automatically, and that means TikTok is involved. The “Follow the work” section embeds videos from our TikTok account. They start muted on their own as you scroll to them — you do not have to click, which also means you are not asked first. When a clip loads, your browser contacts TikTok directly, and TikTok receives your IP address, your browser and device details, the page you are on, and any TikTok cookies your browser already carries. If you are signed in to TikTok, it can connect that visit to your account.

That means another company may collect information about your online activity over time and across different websites when you use this site. We do not control what TikTok collects or how long it keeps it — once a clip loads, TikTok’s own privacy policy governs it, not ours. The same is true of any Instagram post we embed, and of following a link out to our profiles. If you would rather not load them at all, you can block third-party frames or scripts in your browser settings, or visit our profiles directly from the TikTok and Instagram apps.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal. We want to be straight with you: this site does not currently detect or respond to those signals, and the embedded clips load regardless. We say so because California law asks us to disclose how we treat them, not to pretend otherwise. We do not track you across other websites ourselves, so there is nothing of ours for such a signal to switch off — but it will not stop TikTok from seeing an embedded clip load.

You will not see a cookie pop-up here. Under California law we are not required to ask permission before loading an embed, and a button that said “reject” while the clips still loaded would be worse than telling you plainly what happens. This paragraph is the notice. If we ever add analytics, advertising tools or a tracking pixel, this section and the “last updated” date will change first.

7. How long we keep it

Booking requests and service records are kept for as long as we need them to run the business and meet tax and legal obligations — generally a few years. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see your rights below), except where we are required to keep a record.

8. Security

This site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to booking requests is limited to the owner. No system is perfectly secure, so we ask you not to send sensitive information such as government ID or payment card numbers through the booking form or by text.

9. Your California privacy rights

California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, including the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, the right to request its deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months.

To make a request, email flyguyzdetailing@gmail.com or call (562) 239-9424. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

10. Children

This site and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we will update this page and the “last updated” date above. Continuing to use the site or our services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
